Registration: A registration form and release form will need to be completed and returned to Freedom Within LLC along with a $100 deposit in order to hold your space in a class. Balance of the registration is due prior to the beginning of the first class.
We do not take registrations on a trial basis. Students may take an introductory trial private class prior to registering for a full session. You may also make an appointment to visit our studio.
Cancellation Fee: Students who cancel more than one week prior to the start of a session will forfeit their deposit. The balance will be returned within 10 business days. Students who cancel less than one week prior to the start of a workshop will forfeit the total fee. In the event that another student fills the vacated space in the class, before the start of class, 70% of the total fee will be refunded within 10 business days.
Classes with less than 4 students registered are subject to cancellation by Sunnyside Artworks/Freedom Within LLC. Determination will be made one week prior to the start of class. In the event of cancellation, full refunds will be made within 10 business days. Registration may be transferred to another class date and time or maybe be held for the next available session.
We do not prorate classes.
-Make-up classes are available to students who miss class due to illness or unavoidable emergencies.
–Students are limited to two make up classes per 12 week course and one make up class per 4 or 6 week course.
-Make-up classes must be taken during another class time. Advanced scheduling is needed to prepare. Please schedule with the instructor.
-There are no make-up classes for holiday, summer or one day workshops.
-If a student falls behind during their regular class, they need to take pinning, ripping and hand work home to help catch up with the class.
Illness: If your child is home from school due to illness, they should not be attending sewing class.
Conduct: Participants will be expected to follow general behavior rules for a group setting. Respect and care must be taken in the use of the space. Any damage to the facility, equipment or other students personal property caused by a participant will be the responsibility of the parent and reason for dismissal from the program without refund.
Personal items (school bags, lunch boxes, books, clothing, vanity items, etc.) may not be stored in the studio. Personal items must be taken home each week. Anything left behind will be held one week for pick up. After that unclaimed items will be donated or discarded appropriately.
